New Wednesday Evening Schedule (listed above)
As of Wednesday, August 11, all Wednesday evening ministries will begin at 6:30pm, preceded by Midweek Manna. This
will allow the schedule to be standardized throughout the year and will accommodate families that need the programming
to conclude by 7:30pm. The only variable in the schedule will be the season for Kaleidoscope Children's Choir and
therefore, the start time for Midweek Manna. When KCC is practicing during the year, Midweek Manna will begin at 5:00pm.
When there is no practice, the meal will begin at 5:30pm.

Faith Promise - Harmon & Cindy Schmelzenbach - Sept. 11-12, 2010
The Schmelzenbachs feel privileged to serve in the South Pacific as fourth generation Nazarene missionaries. Harmon’s
responsibilities as Field Administrative Assistant offer him opportunity to minister in the countries of Papua New Guinea,
Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Samoa, Tonga and Fiji, where they are currently based. He and Cindy also coordinate Nazarene
Maritime Ministries and Work & Witness across the South Pacific.
We are called to exalt the LORD in and area of the world where land is sprinkled as thousands of tiny islands across a
vast ocean. Nazarene Maritime Ministries, with the FIJIBoat Project, has expanded greatly since it was launched in 2000.
This is an exciting partnership with God as he parts the waters to make way for church planting, compassionate ministries,
disaster relief, Jesus Film, discipleship, national leadership development, transportation solutions and ultimately...
whatever it takes to keep moving forward aggressively with the Great Commission.

New Children's Ministry Check In/Out Procedure
On Sunday, August 15, 2010, elementary age children will be added to the check in/out system. This is another phase in
Keeping Our Kids Safe program. All children nursery-age through 6th grade must be checked in and out of the
Children's Department. We would like all parents and children to stop by the current check in station outside the
Westside room to have their pictures taken, and to be registered in the system. Someone will be there throughout
the morning to take pictures and to assist you. Persons authorized to check your child in or out will need to be
photographed as well. An email will be sent to parents during upcoming weeks, detailing the procedure.
