Concert of Prayer

WHAT IS IT?

The Concert of Prayer is a lay-led, structured time of individual and corporate prayer, praise through music, and scripture readings.

We usually begin with music and then have two separate times of prayer.

We have a time set aside for individual confession; this is a silent time of personal prayer, often including a chance to write out a prayer or spend time at the altar.

We then transition into group prayer where we'll break into groups of no more than four, and we spend time in intercession and thanksgiving (taking turns, praying as led).

We transition between each step with reading of scripture and close with a benediction.
