Prayer Shawl Ministry

"And He took them up in His arms, put his hands on them, and blessed them."
Mark 10:16

A prayer shawl/blanket provides a physical means, done by the hands and surrounded in the prayers of His people, through which God may wrap those with crisis cares and concerns in His arms of love and comfort.

Ministry Group

The Prayer Shawl Ministry Group meets on the third Thursday of each month, 7:00 p.m., at KC First Church--both men and women--to knit and crochet shawls and blankets and pray for those who will receive them.

If you knit or crochet, or if you'd like to learn how, you are welcome to join us!
