Workshop Presenters

Dr. Roger Hahn is currently Professor of New Testament and the Willard H. Taylor Chair of Biblical Theology at Nazarene Theological Seminary. A member of the Wesleyan Theological Society for 39 years, he is interested in all things Wesleyan. He also has special interest in a Wesleyan approach to Biblical Interpretation and to Christian life and practice.

Dr. Doug Hardy is a Professor of Spiritual Formation at Nazarene Theological Seminary.  As a young man he  was significantly influenced by a Wesleyan vision of spiritual growth and church life.  His formal studies furthered his understanding of Wesleyan theology and practice.  His desire is to come alongside others to facilitate their noticing and responding to the God who is, as John Wesley put it, “the Lover of humankind.”

Rev. John Haines is the former EURASIA Regional Education Coordinator and lecturer in Spiritual Formation and Theology of Worship.  In both of these areas, Wesleyan hymns factor in to spiritual development and faith practices. He has a passion for Wesley hymns and poems, and the contributions of Charles Wesley to the Wesleyan Revival and Movement.
