Set Free is a three year capital campaign to set KC First Church of the Nazarene free from deferred maintenance and mortgage debt and to set the church free to dream again about how to use this truly amazing location and property to reach families and serve our community.

First Gifts Matching Fund Challenge

All gifts (up to $500,000) will be matched dollar for dollar by an anonymous donor. $500,000 in gifts will become $1,000,000.



June 1, 2026 - April 30, 2029


All gifts contributed to the Campaign during this period (up to $1,000,000) will be matched 50¢ on the dollar. $1,000,000 in gifts will become $1,500,000.

If we can meet these dates, $1,500,000 in giving will become $2,500,000 available, through matched giving, to help us become a church "SET FREE!"


No one in leadership at KC First wants anyone to give under compulsion or to feel negatively about what they can't give. We do not ask for equal gifts, but equal obedience. We celebrate the obedience, and God honors obedience. If everyone SEEKS God, LISTENS to Him, and OBEYS his leading, we will ALL be blessed to WATCH what He does. And we will have everything we need to do His will, His way, for His glory.
